Yard Worker

Job Title: Yard Person – Manufacturing Plant
Location: Lake Lillian, MN
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: 18.00-21.00 depending on construction experience

Job Summary:
The Yard Person is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of materials and equipment in our outdoor yard area. This includes operating large forklifts and telehandlers to load, unload, and organize materials. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and experienced in operating heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate large forklifts and telehandlers to move raw materials and finished products

  • Load and unload trucks and trailers in a safe and timely manner

  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the yard and storage areas

  • Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance or safety issues

  • Assist with general yard duties as needed

  • Follow all company safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Experience operating large forklifts and telehandlers required

  • Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, but not required)

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

  • Reliable and punctual
